Here is a pretty cool illustration of yet another way Trout Unlimited, working with a broad and diverse array of public and private partners can combine efforts to get stuff done:
TU’s native fish habitat assessment for Ecola Creek on the North Oregon Coast, completed last year at the request of the City of Cannon Beach for management planning of their Ecola Creek Forest Reserve recommended large wood projects on the lower mainstem and select tributaries.
Then, a couple of weeks ago the local partners made it happen (click link to see the article from The Daily Astorian):
