Sure...why not? Send fishes into the fields. Native redbands, daces, lampreys are potentially effected and have been surveyed in the adjacent waters as late as 2007......


Another recent water user has requested exemption from screening/bypass requirements. The users dam has been in place since 1961 but the diversion request is from 2013 as well as the contingent screening requirement by ODFW. It is going to be a dry year indeed and water will be a priority but shouldn't considerations be in place?

ODFW is seeking comments. This is south Central Oregon - Muddy Creek near Goose Lake in the Lakeview/Lake County region. Petitioner is not named.

Comments due by FEBRUARY 26, 2014.
