Tom Wolf wrote in and gave a quick update not on the much contested and debated transfer of the Elliott State Forest; Oregon Trout Unlimited remains interested in the outcome due to the effect such areas have on cold, clean, fishable waters in our state:

This is very early in the process and now we must work for solution that insures the protection of streams , wild salmonids and their habitats within the Elliot. I will keep you involved and informed as process moves forward.
