C4C Crew extraordinaire: Jerry, Jon, Peter, Phil, Kat and Paige! |
The final tallies are in and many THANKS are due! Christmas for Coho tree collection for 2108 is done and done.
We had great volunteers and collected a good number of trees to repurpose into salmon/steelhead habitat.
Total number of trees collected came in at....
442 for the two locations. We currently have a good number of these already scheduled to be placed on February 3rd on the Clackamas River - the remainder will be staged for placement later this spring as waters/streamflow recede a bit.

Thanks again to all our volunteers and the public for helping out - we received MANY repeat customers who have brought trees to our collection sites for numerous years now; we also had many new donors who look forward to helping in the future. The number of folks who specifically commented about the benefits of this program was exciting - the word is really getting out!
Until 2019 - take care and THANK YOU ALL!
P.S. If you are interested in the FEBRUARY 3rd placement effort - CONTACT MIKE GENTRY. TVTU will be
partnering with ODFW and the Clackamas River Basin Council in populating an
off-channel area of the Clackamas River - Saturday, February 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The location is Fishers Bend II on Chrysalis Farms, 21410 SE Highway 224
near Damascus.
