Hopefully you remember that email from the Oregon Council where TU partnered with Columbia Sportswear and all members had access to the employee store for the month of October?
The effort is a now an annual fundraiser for TU of Oregon - a portion of all purchases by members is donated back to the Oregon Council to support state level activities including paid administrators/coordinators, state projects, project development and chapter development - all in Oregon. This gives TU great strength in Salem.....
and other areas where we can represent the TU goal.
We just heard back on the results from the 2017 effort - and THANKS TO ALL OUR MEMBERS who participated - the Oregon Council garnered nearly $1000. According to Lisa Baranek, Leadership Development Manager, the fundraiser had about 40 participants and those sales generated a donation just short of $1,000 from Columbia Sportswear.
Look for another opportunity in 2018! And we hope that out of over 3000 more will be able to support the program and help out Tout Unlimited in Oregon. For more information on what the Oregon Council has been up to - check out the ANNUAL REPORTS on their webpage.
