December at TVTU?

GENERAL MEETING!
WHEN: Wednesday, December 11, 2019
WHERE: Lucky Lab Public House; Multnomah Village
WHAT TIME: 6:00 p.m.
WHAT to EXPECT: Marc Williamson - "Art & Science of Spring Creeks"

The Art and Science of Fishing Spring Creeks...Marc's first fly fishing experience was on Fall River in Central Oregon.  He says he cut his (fly fishing) teeth on spring creeks.  Spring creeks have always been fascinating to not only to fish, but to understand.  Having fished Fall River for so many years, and having spent so much time learning to read and to fish rivers, he has decided that it would be fun to get more specific and learn more about spring creeks. After a few years of researching spring creeks in general, Marc has decided to share all his research and found knowledge - come, reap his rewards and be a better pursuer because of it!
WHAT TO BRING: a few bucks for a beverage and pizza dinner; throw in a few raffle tickets and your best dinnertime conversation to share with others!

VOLUNTEER!
WHEN: Saturday, January 4th and January 11th, 2020
WHERE: Royal Treatment Fly Fishing& Northwest Flyfishing Outfitters
WHAT TIME: various
WHAT to EXPECT: Christmas for Coho Tree Collection

We will be collecting and hauling Christmas trees again this year at NWFFO and Adjacent to Royal Treatment Fly Fishing in West Linn). Trees will be collected on  January 4 and 11 and will be moved and unloaded on January 5 and 12.

Collections staffing on the two Saturdays will be in two shifts, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  For those willing to help on Saturday collections, please CONTACT MIKE GENTRY and let him know which location, all shifts that would work, and the shift you would prefer. We’ll do our best to give everyone their preference but sometime - thankfully - we have enough interest that first-come first-serve gets the spot! So sign-up early!
For the Sunday tree loading, moving and unloading, we usually need six or seven of us.  We would be meeting at the offload site (TBD) and unloading the trees that were loaded Saturday onto the flatbed at NWFFO, then going to the RTFF location, loading those trees and unloading them at the same or another offload site. The Sundays work usually takes four hours or so.  Again, please LET MIKE KNOW if and when you could help.

Thanks in advance for your help.
