WHAT to EXPECT: Food conversation and whatever else may happen - bring your spouse; friendly pooches on leash are allowed too! We don't have a speaker at this annual gathering so bring your best handshake and introductory line - find out who else is a member of TVTU! Just a laid back evening down by the river!
WHAT to BRING: a no frills event - bring a side dish or dessert to accompany the TVTU provided entree. Have a favorite beverage? Bring it along and introduce someone else to your tastes!

OUTINGS - there are TWO this month!
WHEN: July 10 - 15, 2014
WHERE: Chewaucan River - Southern Oregon
WHAT TIME: late afternoon - Marster Springs Campground [south of Paisley].
WHAT to EXPECT: The Chewaucan is one of the largest and best fishing rivers in the Fremont-Winema National Forest. South of Paisley, the river is artificial lures and flies only; temps will be high but the river cool. There are also some lakes high above that could be reached by car - floating device in hand. A Saturday night barbecue will be had - with the meat/entree supplied by TU.

Those attending are asked to bring something to
share with the group during the barbecue (dessert, salad, chips and dip,
bottle of wine) - your fishing/wading gear though wet wading may be on order. Bug spray. Float tube or pontoon if you adventure highter into the mountains [Campbell and Deadhorse Lakes?]. Also it's a campout so drag down your
tent/truck cab and other necessary living & cooking gear.

WHAT to EXPECT: Day trip to this catch & release fishery in the middle of logging country [watch for trucks even though we are on a Sunday trip!]. Little fishing pressure has this producing lots of various sized fish - no telling what you'll end up with.
WHAT to BRING:
Floating devices are needed - but boats may be problematic due to a limited/primitive ramp. Also check the link for directions - it is a tough one to find if you don't know the roads but doable.

WHERE: Seaside, Oregon - Coho Sanctuary
WHAT TIME: 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
WHAT to EXPECT: christmas tree placement; the last of the trees collected in C4C are being used to created summer deep pool refuge habitat. They will be tied to create a boom and tree corral. There will be some water work so bring waders and consider you pontoon boat - check with Michael.
WHAT to BRING: waders & your heavy gardening gloves.
