The lake is best fished with a pontoon boat or float tube.

CONSERVATION!

WHEN: Saturday, June 27, 2015
WHERE: Seaside Oregon - Coho Sanctuary on the Necanicum

WHAT TIME: 9:30 a.m. at Coho Sanctuary [carpooling/caravan info below]
WHAT to EXPECT: For the fourth year, the Tualatin Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be helping our partners at the coast place christmas trees in the Necanicum River. If you have helped do this in the past you know what a fun and rewarding task this is. If not, now is your chance. You will get to see the Coho Sanctuary wetlands and, if time permits, Doug Ray will take a group to see the beaver activity at Stanley Marsh.
The work consists of tossing trees from the bank (no waders required) and moving the trees around in the river (Waders definitely help here).  Bring gloves, wear weather appropriate clothing and bring a lunch. Other tools and materials will be provided.
CARPOOL/CARAVAN: We will carpool from the Fred Meyer in Hillsboro - 22075 NW Imbrie Dr, Hillsboro, Oregon. Meet by the can return area between 8 and 8:15 a.m. If you are already in the Seaside area you can meet us at Coho Sanctuary around 9:30. Be prepared for a pretty full day of work.
