WHERE: Timothy Lake - North Arm Campground
WHAT TIME: whenever you can make it
WHAT to EXPECT:
An annual favorite and well-attended event! North Arm campground is tucked away from the bigger area of the lake and has a great float tube parking area with protected fishing varied fishing areas - the campground has now been improved....
with more defined sites and a is partial reservation/partial first-come. Saturday is a potluck dinner - the chapter provides an entree - attendees please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

DIRECTIONS: Take the turnoff to Timothy Lake from Highway 26 and follow the #42 road to the Little Crater Lake turn off (known as Rd. 58). Drive past the Little Crater Lake Campground a mile or two to where the road forks. Take the left fork (still Rd. 58) and continue around the lake for about 5 miles where a sign points to the North Arm Campground.
WHAT to BRING: a float tube, bug spray and a friend if you wish!

"Flyfishing the Oregon Cascades"
For many, "Cascades fly-fishing" begins and ends with the famous stillwaters along Century Drive, with perhaps a detour to the upper McKenzie, Metolious, or Fall River. However, the Cascades offers so much more for the adventurous trout angler. This presentation covers the tips, techniques, and patterns to find quality trout on both the streams and lakes of the "Hidden Oregon Cascades."

WHERE: Migration Brewing, Portland
WHAT TIME: 6:00 p.m.
WHAT to EXPECT: a casual gathering to support the Oregon Council of Trout Unlmited at Migration Brewing [2828 NE Glisan St.]. Admission is FREE. There will be a silent auction and raffle for all sorts of items, including a guided fishing trip on the Deschutes. Enjoy the camaraderie of like minded friends, films showcasing local conservation efforts, and a very entertaining surprise guest speaker.
