WHAT: RTFF Introduction to Fly Fishing class

WHAT to EXPECT: Start off your fly fishing career right with good fundamentals and lots of fun! This introduction to fly fishing is a great course for the beginner or those in need of a little refresher course. It makes a great gift and is fun for the whole family. Join instructor Rob Crandall of Water Time Outfitters who is a professional local guide with 25 years experience and past editor of Flyfishing & Tying Journal as he shares his love of fly fishing!

  • Fly fishing knots
  • Proper rigging
  • Equipment
  • Fly selection
  • Fly casting
  • Entomology
  • On water instruction

What You Need: Rods and reels are provided. Bring your waders/boots, fishing license, and a sack lunch [if you don't have waders/boots - ask for guidance]. Meeting place for the class will be determined based on water levels and river condition.
