September at TVTU?


We're back in the 'swing' of things this month with a monthly member meeting and our next to last campouting! Come and join us!

GENERAL MEETING!
WHEN: Wednesday, September 11, 2019
WHERE: Lucky Labrador Public House; Multnomah Village location
WHAT TIME: 6:30 p.m. for gathering; activities start at 7:00 p.m.
WHAT to EXPECT:
J. Michelle Swope - "Cutthroat on the Fly!" 
J. Michelle Swope, owner of Olympia Women on the Fly Guide service, and WI coordinator for Washington State Council of Trout Unlimited will be giving a presentation on Cutthroat. She will cover the emerging studies on these gorgeous, mysterious fish. Spawning, migration, protection, habitat and how can we fish effectively for them in Oregon including her most effective fly pattern for Cutthroat in the salt.
WHAT to BRING: a friend?

CAMPOUTING!
WHEN: September 19-24, 2019
WHERE: Fall River; Fall River Campground
WHAT TIME: whenever you can make it
WHAT to EXPECT:
Annual trek over to the east side to meet and fish on the famed Fall River. Expect anything and everything and be prepared for adventure - the Fall never disappoints! Contact: Andy Andrews
WHAT to BRING: about everything you need to camp for the weekend - including being prepared for potential colder temperatures and weather - it can happen! Throw in an extra dish for the Saturday evening potluck and TVTU will provide the entree - ala Andy and Roadkilll Grill!
