C4C Could Use Your Help!

Christmas for Coho is gearing up!
You may [or may not] have seen the note in the last TVTU Member email about the exciting new tree drop locations for 2016. This program has become a large and effective effort for the Chapter - and it takes hands to get it done. We have seen huge increases in participation through the years and the growth overall of the project! As we roll into this next year w could use some folks to help in a less physical and more mental capacity to help organize and plan:

Committee makeup:  Mike Gentry and Jon Pampush are heading up the program this year and are hoping to get at least five folks [or more if possible] to brainstorm and organize. No experience necessary. Willingness to participate and organize at least one task of the many that need to be coordinated.

Overview:  there are two phases in the process:
  • collection (all the planning, PR, staffing, logistics, etc.)
  • distribution (logistics/stockpiling, staffing, transportation, etc.).
Since we will be placing trees in the Metro (Clackamas) area and at our normal North Coast sites, we’ll be working with the Clackamas and North Coast chapters. We have already contacted and are working with ODFW on local efforts - including this fall.

Meeting Place and Date:  Please contact TVTURESTORATION@GMAIL.COM and let Mike and Jon know of your interest -ask more questions if you have them - there will be a place for everyone and their desires/skills! Meetings will occur in SW Portland - available meeting dates are being set RIGHT NOW!
