9-11 AM: TU CHAPTER CLINIC –
Join the Bluebacks and TU Vice President for Volunteer Operations Bryan
Moore at Cascadia Fly Shop (900 NW Kings Blvd, Corvallis, OR
97330/541-230-1706) for a brief presentation and Q&A about
Strengthening TU Chapters in Oregon. Open to any and all Oregon TU
members.
2-6 PM: CASTIN’ BLAST
hosted by the Bluebacks and Cascadia Fly Shop – Swing by the Heart of
the Valley Septembeerfest at the Benton County Fairgrounds (110 SW 53rd
St) between 2 and 6 pm
to test out the latest rods from Redington, Sage, Beulah and more. Get
some casting tips or get that shy family member or friend to see how
easy learning to fly fish can be.
Heart of the Valley Septembeerfest is a family-friendly event.
Adult Admission is $15 (minors more than welcome with paid adult), and
gets you a pint glass for 4 drink tokens. Septembeerfest Shuttles will
be available from downtown and OSU campus locations every 15 minutes,
