State Project  /  TU Outing
Okay members! Here it is - the unique opportunity to 'kill two birds with one stone' so to speak.....and build that good fishing karma!! Enjoy an outing with other like minded TU folks from Clackamas River and Tualatin Valley Chapters AND get in your field time with a volunteer project all in one weekend! This is your advance warning......

On OCTOBER 11th, 12th and 13th, the two metro area chapters head to the Metolius River for a couple of days of restorative work and fishing camaraderie - please put it on your calendar! This effort is referred to as the Bull Trout Rendezvous XIV and is the Oregon State Council's Fall Project for 2013.
The areas being worked on are ongoing projects that many hours of volunteer effort have been put into - they begin on Friday at Camp Polk working streamside riparian zones and head Saturday to the Whychus Canyon Reserve. Saturday evening is a camp potluck barbecue - so bring a side dish or dessert and enjoy some stories around the fire! Fishing will be part of the festivities after the work is complete on Friday and Saturday - and is the main focus for Sunday.

The days are rewarding but not exhaustive and there is always plenty to do! Be a part of the solution and please come join other members at this important State Project!
