Pelton Dam Hydro Project lecture

Oregon Wildlife Lecture series is presenting a May 1st lecture featuring Don Ratliff, PGE Senior Aquatic Biologist on the Pelton Round Butte Hydroelectric Project.
The free lecture will discuss the research, design, construction, and operation of the new selective water withdrawal system and downstream fish facilities at Round Butte. Mr Ratliff will also describe the findings of recent temperature management efforts, anadromous fish reintroductions,and fish passage programs which helped sockeye, chinook and steelhead access spawning grounds in the Crooked, middle Deschutes and Metolius systems.
