Rested from the Metolius / State Project?

Come out and help - Saturday, November 2!
The Circle Creek EAS Project!

On November 2nd, TVTU will have some hands-on efforts on the new Off Channel Wetland Complex near Seaside.  The Chapter helped fund this Project through the Embrace-a-Stream Program. It is the second such funding effort - and is a continuation of the 2010 work in that area. We need your help!!
The heavy duty equipment digging is almost done but there is some hand grading that needs to be completed beyond that. Volunteers will also be gathering ‘Scirpus’ to use for erosion control.

You should bring boots, gloves, and a lunch. We will carpool from the Imbrie Road Fred Meyer in Hillsboro. Meet between 8 and 8:15 AM near the can&bottle return area. We should get to the work site about 9 AM or so.

The newsletter has more information about the project. This is a great opportunity to see the newest Off Channel Wetland Complex for the Necanicum River and to see where your TU money is being spent.

We'll look forward to seeing you all on the 2nd of November!
